Disrupting Law is a hackathon / startup weekend in its second year – focused on finding opportunities for change and rapid evolution in the legal industry.
Organised by the peer-to-peer legal community group TheLegalForecast, and held in association with QUT, the event runs over a weekend in Australia, bringing together students and industry from law, technical, business (non-technical) and design to collaboratively find new ways to doing traditional tasks. The weekend is designed to provide superior experiential learning valuing the diverse range of perspectives in the room.
The delegates will network with like-minded cross-discipline individuals and mentored by industry professionals & experienced entrepreneurs – including the global team from Janders Dean.
Within 54 hours, the teams will brainstorm, ideate, validate, prototype and build a business model; finishing with a presentation to an industry panel. The weekend is centred around education, exploration, and action.
